Supposedly a demo this month.

The interface does look good.

The head honcho was the composing chair at Berklee for
like 10 years.

Can't wait to see its microtonal capabilities... anybody
hear anything?

C,

This is the second time you've mentioned this, so:

{you wrote...}
>The head honcho was the composing chair at Berklee for like 10 years.

But did he have any interest outside of 12tet?

>Can't wait to see its microtonal capabilities... anybody hear anything?

Do you have any reason to believe it *has* microtonal capabilities?

Cheers,
Jon

Third, Jon, third.

I understand he actually hated microtonalists. He taught that
12-tET is the one true tuning.

I was just testing you to see if you'd make something up. Despite
the fact that every other major notation program has some form of
microtonal support, this one doesn't.

PS- Almost nothing in this message is true.

I actually scanned back in my email, and couldn't find any others. Maybe it was on another list? In any event, I remember you bringing it up, but I didn't see any new info in your latest posting, so...

>PS- Almost nothing in this message is true.

Well, OK. I downloaded the demo mp3 *last* time you posted, and it was pretty good. But until we get a demo version of the software or something, uh, what is the *point*? No new info, on their site or the message.

Hell, I might jump for it for 12tet, partly because of the wife and string quartets. And $600??? Wow.

Cheers,
Jon

12-tone can always be retuned in various ways at a later stage. If
the interface is good, it's good for me. But I think to compete at
this level you need microtonal/extensible accidentals. Whether they
playback in any way is another story...
