Hey all,

It's been a while since I posted music that was new to you all, because I've
been busy. I found a few moments to upload some stuff from my scoring of Peer
Gynt, which as you know, closed February 13th, to rave reviews.

New to my site ( http://www.akjmusic.com/works.html ) are the following:

*Canon (12-equal, folksy strict canon for two accordian lines plus oom-pah
piano, designed to sound 'Norwegian rustic')
*Harem scene underscore (7-limit 'aaron' scale (3 and 7 based)-Peer in Arabia,
some of you heard this before perhaps)
*Threadball scene (ditto on the tuning, lots of sliding--atmospheric and
psychedelic, Peer meets an 'allegory' of himself on a mountain)
* Most Blessed of Mornings-(The final hymn of the play, Peer on his knees
repenting for his wasted life, while Christian pilgrims 'sing' this hymn; all
parts sung acapella by yours truly, to a Neidhardt temperament guide
track(s)).

I hope you all take the time out to enjoy these, there will be many more along
the way, plus, coming soon, a realization of some music by Carl Lumma.

BTW, once 'Natural Affection' closes, i'll post some music from that (it's all
12-tet though, so I might make the annoucement on metatuning)

All best,
Aaron.

Thanks, Aaron. I enjoyed listening to your newly posted works.

I also finally had a listen to Peer's Dream, which I really liked. I
was also impressed with the quality of your sounds.
