$1 a song download from iTunes - don't knock it - it's making us £€¥$!

For those of us who are actually interested in making a living producing and selling microtuned music; downloads really beats all the hassle of stocking, shipping and attempting to distribute CD's all over the planet.

Downloads may be lower quality audio, but in the near future, I expect to be sending .aif files + surround .aif , and HD video via the net,
which will produce real productivity gains + savings on transport pollution, energy consumption etc....

See here for an interesting business/economics theory on internet pricing:

There may also be a producers' "cartel" developing here, as on much of the internet merchandising systems.

(Now about the continuing collapse of the US$, and future oil prices ..... that's another story;)

I have recently doubled the $ price for LT Lulls CD's in anticipation, + we have to ship from UK at present.

If things go the directions that I am seeing, the microtonal producers' world could become much more "interesting", which would benefit us all (including our listeners) - (from womb to grave;-).

I also suspect that the microtuned music market may be reverse-price-sensitive.

i.e. The higher the prices - the greater the number of units sold.

Blatant plug for Flash cartoon to make you smile.

How do I accelerate this viral marketing concept?

Ideas please!
