Thanks to Alex Ross for the heads up:

"On Wednesday I'm in NJ for Harry Partch opera's Oedipus, in
Montclair. Why Montcair? The armory of microtonal instruments that the
remarkable Partch constructed for the performance of his music is now
in the possession of Montclair State University."

Anyone going to record it?

Prent,

I'm going to be attending, along with Danlee Mitchell. It is unclear about recording, as there are some issues with Actors Equity (part of the theatre company that is co-producing). I hope that this will be ironed out, and I'll post information to the list after I return to the West coast.

BTW, if any list members are going to be in attendance at the Friday, April 1 show, I'll try to make myself identifiable. That usually entails wearing a bow tie...

Cheers,
Jon

Yes, I worship at the feet of Orville Redenbacher...

Cheers,
Jon

P.S. to the list: Kraig's latest performance (hammered dulcimer) on a mini-CD is a real gem!

Friday is tech night for me. However it's at 6, if it's short and I can get out of town
maybe I can make it.

***Again, thanks for the "heads up" Jon... I'll be going Sat. night,
since they have a bus from Manhattan at 6. Looking forward to it...
