Paul,

Got your msgs just as I've got to leave for work (Bruckner - I don't like Bruckner, and I've heard all the symphonies and I've played most of them, and ... you get it :)

But I just wanted to say, before I take overnight to read over the stuff, is that one of the things I'm most pleased with is the place you and I have come to: I respect the work you've done and the music you've made, and we're able to appreciate each other for our strengths (and warts). I think Chili Palmer has no need to tell us to "Be cool".

Til later,
Jon

I used to leave on the radio at night. One night a bruckner sym came on and it was agony. no more radio and despite a friend playing the best conductors doing his music well. I just never really gets there!

I just got back. At the end of the Symphony, the other percussionist turned to me and said "Well, there's an hour of our lives we'll never get back!"

All I can say is that at times like this, I'd do large sexual favors for whoever it was that invented custom-fit earplugs.

What?,
Jon
