I mean the intervals _between_ the notes. If you take two of the
notes, 29/A and 29/B, the interval between them is B/A. Now if you
substitute all the 29's with, say, pi, then the notes are pi/A and
pi/B, and the interval between them is, again, B/A.

thanks Paul. I find it very helpful when you actually give the
general math formula you are using to support your statements.
Otherwise I tend to get a bit lost in the details and miss the big
obvious stuff.
