Hey everyone,

I thought I'd start putting some music on soundclick for comments and
critiques! These recordings are the result of my senior recital to
finish up my undergrad. Some of them are also getting submitted with
grad school apps... But you can be honest with your opinions. :)

Anyway, I thought I'd post them one at a time in order to get more
feedback. The first one, "Confrontation!," is for 2 saxes and 2
keyboards (one of each detuned by 1/4-tone) percussion, and computer.
Let me know what you think!

I liked the angularity, Chris, but I lost a little interest a couple of
minutes in; I wanted something to draw me in more. But that could be that I'm
not a fan of atonal jazz language very much, and I have to say I'm not a big
fan of 1/4 tone music, which I think might as well be 12-equal.

I can tell it was well written/thought out/arranged, so it must be my own
personal predilections that made it less than exciting to me. Don't feel
bad--lots of good/great music does this to me when I'm not in the mood for
it. So it says nothing about the quality of your work! ;)

Cheers,
