Hiya Jeff,

Downloaded the new version of Anamorphosis, which was
always my favorite of your pieces. The new version seems
to have a much wider stereo mix. I find it somewhat
distracting on this system. But maybe I'm just falling
prey to the 'likes it how he first heard it' syndrome.
Anyway, incredible piece.

Really like this version of BlueStrider, which I had only
heard as a MIDI file.

Love the Espace and Transcension albums!

Spirale d'Arco is fun. I'm especially enjoying following
along with the score.

Yeah I should try and fix that. I was getting complaints about the
wierd super-short notes. My plan was to realize it with my new string
patches like I'm using on L'Ecume, but it turned out to be a pain
because of the lack of velocity support on those sample sets.

Steve Layton did that - http://www.niwo.com - he's got some cool piano
music himself at his ampcast site.

That's

This is also not to be missed

And there's some great quotes at

http://www.niwo.com/steve/News9.html

including at least one from our very own Christopher Bailey.

Yeah! Steve's my co-moderator for my NetNewMusic so he's always
putting those quotes in there. Love that Xenakis quote about death
and the other one about space/time. And also Joe Benzola's quote about
people being scared of his music. Cracks me up...
