The death of non12comp@... ...

...is imminent. It has been sparsely used. I see no point in trying to make
logical arguments for continuing it's existence, since none of the members
care to use it, and post here almost exclusively. I also want to not have an
extra mailing list in my mail client (right now, I have 4 groups relating to
alternate tuning, if you count metatuning....ridiculous!!!)

Sigh. Searchable archiving would have been nice. Migrating would have been
nice. But this is democracy, and people vote with their feet, and they have
overwhelmingly voted to use MMM. Truth be told, the speed-delivery advantage
that Google presented has also disappeared, and Yahoo's delivery speed has
been *quicker* lately.

So, if their or no loud objections within one week from today, I'll take
non12comp offline.....

Best,

Heya Aaron,

Why not just leave it up? It might be nice to have at the ready
if something ever goes wrong with Yahoo. Plus, it's not even out
of beta yet!

Only four tuning-related groups? Get with the times. I've got six
in my mail client, plus two that I read online (metatuning and non12comp).
:)

Well, you may have a point there.....

In the Tao, everyday something is discarded. I am practicing the Tao of the
tuning-lists.

The Tao that can be named by six lists of tuning is not the eternal tuning
Tao.

My goal is to sit in an empty white room and contemplate an email client with
only the threefold truth: the eternal beatific MMM, the lotus-lined path of
tuning, and the extra 'inner eye' of metatuning. I shall focus my chakras and
healing white light to all those cosmic goals, oh Shiva!

It's late and I'm delirious. And I'm mixing Hinduism, Taoism, and Zen Buddhism
like a shameless Western hack. :)
