mp3's for Jacky

Thanks Jacky for your interest in hearing my work.

I probably won't get around to adding more mp3s to the
web until mid-Nov or later, and when I do, I'm most
likely to only put up excerpts with score excerpts,
as I did with Remembrance at
www.geocities.com/harold_fortuin.

My hope is that when I'm ready to press a full-length
microtonal CD, that a few people might be willing to
pay me for my hours of artistic labors in 16
unadulterated bits of sound per sample, either in
currency or by swapping with a full-length CD of their
own work (as would be appropriate for you).

BTW, I really appreciated your "Nancarrow meets Cecil
Taylor" piece, especially for its super-virtuosic
polyphonic textures--all too rare today despite the
technical means easily available to nearly anyone. I
myself have done such things in the two recordings
mentioned earlier, and in my "Branchings for
Computer-Controlled Synthesizer"--my PhD
dissertation-composition.

You are welcome to contact me at
harold_fortuin@... if you'd like to swap
recordings of any of my music for your work, and I can
extend this offer to other interested parties on this
list whose music intrigues me. But I'm most likely not
to be ready to burn one-off CDs until mid-Nov.

Soundly yours,
Harold Fortuin
