A fantastic new pipe organ application

To those of you who use Linux, there is yet another way to make microtonal
music, (with 12 notes, that is).

It is a *fantastic* sounding virtual pipe organ physical-modelling synthesizer
called 'aeolus'.

Scroll halfway down the page....

I encourage everyone, Linux users or not, to check out some of the audio
samples (in .ogg no less ;) ) on the applications web page to hear how
amazingly lifelike the organ stops sound. Kurt Bigler, it works apparently in
the same way your OS-X app works--it has to tune each pipe individually
because of the non-linearity of the physical-modelling.

It comes with some preset standard pipe organ scales like Werckmeister, 1/4
comma meantone, etc., but it's easy to modify the source code to add more, as
I have done. From what I can tell though, it's limited to 12 notes/oct, but
the sound of this instrument more than makes up for that fact !!!

When I get something together using this application, I'll be sure and post
it!
