Usually pieces, especially if they involve acoustic instruments, take
me about three to four months to complete, lets say of about a
standard 10 minutes in length.

This has been an average for about 30 years now (!), so the blackjack
piece is no different, since I started it right after Memorial Day
and now, almost Labor Day, it's nearing completion...
