JON!

Angel music is really beautiful.

Was it Joe P. or Rick that wanted to hear more? Well me too!

Everybody get the hell out of the file section and let Jon fell that Angel.

TIMBER!

Yeah, right. Please don't forget, the majority of the piece, forgetting the non-pitched percussion, is 12-tET work, mostly synth. Since we were talking bit rates, I did some experimenting while working on other stuff:

"Fallen Angels" [12:23]

Wave file: 131.1 mb
mp3/320br/44khz: 29.7 mb
mp3/128br/44khz: 11.8 mb
mp3/96br/32khz: 8.9 mb

Note that I didn't try any VBR encoding, though past experiments don't show a great space savings. Looks like 128 is a good break-even point, as the drop in quality below it doesn't pan out too well space-savings-wise.

Still too big for now, we'll see about later, or maybe an mp3.com site. Let me mull it over...

...or in chunks occasionally. Or not.

Cheers,
Jon
