Folks

I want to buy this instrument to try and tune my
mini-reed organ (an instrument called Harmonium). If
you have good/bad experiences then I would like to
know before I invest $500+.

Thank you

-Vivek (vivekdatar@...)

Hello Vivek, Some of us on the list have been trying to get a shruti harmonium made. I have collected some information, and have some ideas, which will be useful to you in your project.

Let me collect the information in a single place, organize it and then write to you again.

First and foremost, it is far better to buy a harmonium in India, and bring it with you here in the U.S.

Thanks,
Haresh.

Haresh

Please include me in your shruti harmonium
discussions, I have been playing for over 20 years
now, and have good harmoniums from India. I tried to
"just tune" one (spare one). I think the job was
passable, nonetheless, I learnt a lot from it.
