More news, they're happy to give me credit for the
archive, but it's difficult for them to update the
scales and change the file format of Metasynth. That
would break compatibility for the people who already use it.
They are also a small company with not a lot of
resources.
ScaleComposer is not their product, so we might have
more luck there.
So Justin, if you're not happy with the incompatibility
of Metasynth with Scala files, now is the time to complain
about it. I can't because I'm not a user. Did you test
most of the files they supply?

It's an idea, scales beginning with a 1 cent first note
are likely to be rare.
My impression is that unless actual users start complaining,
they won't change anything.
