Just wanted to congratulate everyone who backed Terpstra - looks like
they've really blasted through the ceiling and have now raised $52k (the
original ask was $35k).

There are 32 hours left in the campaign, so thought everyone who's
interested in getting one should know about it. After the 32 hours is over,
it'll be a while before the next manufacturing run.

Good luck to Dylan and congratulations to the funders, looks like we're all
getting generalized keyboards! Wow.

Isomorphically,
Mike

This interests me enough that I asked my wife if we have any extra money available.  Sadly, the answer is no.

I'm trying to memorize a 43-pitch 13-limit JI scale (on two 88-note standard keyboards).  Progress, at my age, is slower than I'd like.  So I think about this issue -- the issue of having something like a rational keyboard setup -- a lot.

The thing is, that if I simply stop thinking, and commit myself to this rather insane project, I'll be able to do it someday.

Commitment, even to something less than ideal, is the key.

Or, as they say, the perfect is the enemy of the good.

Maybe next time.  I hope so.
