I don't make a lot of progress with microtonal music but still every now and then a little insight dawns. I don't know how close this idea might be to other microtonal keyboards but anyway here is an idea that microtonal folks might enjoy:

Wow, thanks for that! I have never seen any product like this, though I have been dreaming about it for a long time!

The layout of the c-thru keyboard isn't exactly the same as mine but probably the difference isn't that important. I wonder if they have worked out just or other microtonal mappings.

they have two mapping schemes - its on the website. They were not thinking
microtonal necessarily (how much of a market is that?) but with the right
software you can map it pretty much anyway you want. Its actually on sale @
$250.

Be aware the the key spacing is rather close so if you have big hands it
could be an issue.

Ah, I see this "selfless" mode. Maybe that would give me just the flexibility I need. I don't understand MIDI or really much electronic music technology at all. I just use CSound and do everything with software. But with a USB connector, surely I can write a program somehow to read those MIDI signals and then create the pitches I want.

On sale, too?!
