This is a decidedly electronic / aggressive ambient piece that
simultaneously uses 5, 9, 10, 11, 12 edo.

Have a Good Whatever Your Timezone is in.

Are all of them based on the same root note?

Is there some special reason why you have included 5 edo? It's just a subset of 10 which is included.

Hello Daniel,

Yes, all of them are based off of C5 as the center.

The reason 5 edo was included is that I am using an array of synthesized
sound generators and each have their own tuning. So, while from a pitch
perspective 5 is a subset of 10 edo this is not true from a timbre
perspective. Also since everything is played at once on the same array of
instruments one midi note (except at the magic C5) does not correspond to
the same pitch set because of the different tunings involved - in other
words even with the same timbre 5 edo would not be played as a subset of 10
edo - they are two lines of pitches with differing slopes.

Hi, Chris,

thanks for your explanation, now I understand. I have asked because I
plan to use more tunings in one piece and think about different
possibilities how to do it. Your way can be one of them.
Tomorrow I will listen to it :-)

Yes, Chris,

thanks for tips, I wanted to check more of your recent works, I liked all I've heard some time ago :-)

Right now I started to work on 11 edo work... so I'm thinking what to do with it.
