11 Limit Piano

I pulled a number of 11-limit intervals from Paul Erlich's Harmonic Entropy
graph and put them into a tuning and half improvised / half composed a
piece around it.

Links to the pertinent information can be found on my blog post including a
link to Paul's work which is highly recommended for any microtonal composer
/ theorist.

Online play and downloads, plot, and link to the tuning

I hope you have a great weekend!

Hi all,
I am now proposing Bach's Prelude & Fugue no 24 from Well Tempered Clavier Book 2, in 19 or 31 edo. Enjoy!

I guess Mike Battaglia will specially appreciate the 19 edo version :)
Best wishes,
Claudi

As for me, I keep not liking 19edo that much, and teh 19edo version of this piece is no exception (major thirds too flat and semitones too large for my taste, as before...). But I like the 31edo version of this one quite well.
BTW, are there any "comma pump" situations when you retune Bach to 31edo or 19edo or another tuning?

Hi, if I understood well the definitions at
http://xenharmonic.wikispaces.com/comma+pump
there should be none.
There shouldn't be any in Fokker's septimal just intonation rendition either:

I am not sure I understood definitions well, however.
The point is that all notes keep their tunings fixed all the piece long: so, if I understood well the definition of comma pump, this should prevent it to arise. Or, it could highlight I didn't understand the definition exactly...
Bests,
Claudi
