8 edo classical guitar and xenharmonic FMTS in 8edo normal speed mistakes
and all
- the synth is using an 8 edo compatible spectrum.
Actually I need to explore that synth more. It sounds cool.

Chris,

I found this to be a worthwhile experiment, but not something I
actually enjoyed. I found it interesting in the detached way I
sometime find serialism interesting. That's not to say it's unmusical
-- I can see it being used as soundtrack music, for instance, but not
at a particularly emotional part of the movie.

Regards,
Jake

I think I agree with you. It wasn't a particularly inspiring experiment
though I did like what I could do with the xenharmonic FMTS in the way of
generating frequency modulated sound ala Yamaha DX-7 - a keyboard I really
wanted and wasn't able to afford. Though, as an aside, the original PC
sound card, the Adlib card and the subsequent soundblaster, used a much
less complex form of FM synthesis. FM synthesis is really easy to model on
a computer compared to most any other kind except perhaps additive
synthesis.

I do appreciate our conversations and if there is anything I can do to help
you with your compositions don't hesitate to ask. I'm open to giving you
midi, scores, etc. if you'd like to look at something in detail.

I am also slowly working on an album themed on "Exotic Atoms" if you have
no objection I could send some pre-release material your way for your
honest opinion. I sometimes got so used to hearing things in one way I lose
all perspective and release what I realize is not as good as it could be
when I finally gain some perspective on it.

Take care,

Chris

Not realizing I just posted this to most of my microtonal world I may just
call it an EP and be done...
