Hi,
this is my first mesage to this list. I am interesting in playing microtonal scales and intervalls (chords) with different deviation of the 12t scale on a keybard and I am looking for a solution.
I found on the webpage www.h-pi.com, the models U-Plex and the TPX2. Has anybody experience with ths devices or advices to look further. Thanks for feedback.

cheers

There have been some discussions about various micronal conrollers on this list. You can check, e.g.,

/tuning/topicId_76152.html#76190 /tuning/topicId_76549.html#76549

and the follow-up messages.

But you can also play microtonal scales on a standard MIDI keyboard - this is actually how I am doing it currently. All you need is a synthesizer, expander or software synthesizer that supports retuning. Nowadays many synthesizers support this; you can get information about his on http://www.microtonal-synthesis.com .

Welcome on this list and good luck!
