The full title is actually "Preattentive Pitch Discrimination (You
Should Probably Read Those Studies Again, Feel Free To Respond Off
List)"

It is also belated and one day late, because it took me an extra day
to finish, and is addressed to an anonymous individual.

It is loosely centered around porcupine's MOS's and MODMOS's in 22-TET.

Cheers,
Mike

(Hint: it's the birthday song, because yesterday was someone's birthday.)

This joke may backfire if people don't actually listen to it... lol.

Wow, sounds like my mom's side of the family when I was a kid.

This is really wild! I like it. Nice arrangement.

Carl's and Jacob's, among countless others.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. I uploaded a newer version with
dynamics and panning added, which I feel is superior. Hope you enjoy/

Yesterday was Carl's birthday. I wasn't aware it was anyone else's. I
have a tradition that when it's one of my IRL friends' birthdays, to
call them up and play some sort of jazzed up reharm of the happy
birthday changes to them over the phone. In this case I thought that
porcupine would do the trick, and also help me learn how to navigate
around in these porcupine MODMOS's we've been talking about.

The joke, which I guess nobody got, was that the title of this thread
makes it seem like I'm going to engage in some kind of discussion
about psychoacoustics, which I am prone to do. Then, the guy whose
birthday it is clicks the file, and surprise! Happy birthday in
porcupine temperament, not an argument about psychoacoustics at all!
How pleasant.

Now that I've explained it, it is the least funny joke ever told, and
I feel all the more depressed for having made it.

Terrific job, first class realization. Especially the crescendos.
