Added 3 new files to my folder, more retunings of "Paint in the Water". The first is in 29-EDO, which is super-duper improper (the large step is 5\29, the small step is 1\29. I think this one sounds the worst of the lot.

Next up is a version in 17 where all the large steps become small steps and vice-versa, which sounds super weird and pretty much horrible. Last is a version in 17 doing its best approximation to the 5L+4s MOS, which amounts to 3 1 2 1 3 1 2 1 3. This one sounds really good but definitely changes the mood and functionality of the piece, as a few minor 3rds become suspended 2nds (among other changes).

Next up: a straight comparison of subminor triads in 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 23, and 24-EDO (and JI).

I think it sounds the best of the lot. I'll take the plunge and ask to render it and use it as an example of 29et on the Xenwiki, but I don't know if you want your name associated with it as a composition you approve of.

It was interesting, I agree.
