Yahoo Tuning Groups Ultimate Backup makemicromusic 81/80 the Microtonal Radio

Hello everyone,

I am happy to announce after a long time away, 81/80 the Microtonal Radio will be relaunching in the near future! For real, and for good this time.

I have decided to host this site on my own, exclusive from the requirements of Live365. Any delays in getting the station up and running will be due to my own inexperience as a builder of websites. :-) I think it is safe to say a launch date of April or May is feasible.

In the meantime, anyone who is interested in having your music played on the station please do send me links or attached mp3s and I'll get it lined up. I'll also just require a brief statement via email expressing consent for radio play.

Those that had music featured prior - if you could, please send me a note expressing continued permission for radio play of your music as well.  Plus send me some new stuff!

I hope to hear from all of you soon.

81/80's goal is to celebrate microtonal music - beyond this, there really are no boundaries. As a result, we've featured new and old music from all sorts of places by all sorts of people. We've featured music from the avant garde to rock and blues.
