Hi Manuel,

I've been having a lot of fun with the Chromatic Clavier
today :-).

I think one very special thing about it is that by
making it one that you play with the mouse you have liberated
it from any dependence on the midi keyboard or p.c.
keyboard layout.

So, for ex. you use whatever number of keys to the
visual "octave" (or non octave) of the keyboard one
needs, and with accidentals wherever they need to go.
even up to a 217-et keyboard! Is this the first ever
217-et keyboard?

Hi Manuel,

I wonder how the chromatic clavier would play on a laptop with
a touch sensitive screen?

In that situation maybe it might be useful to have option to
toggle the sustain on with a mouse click, so that when that
is in force, you play a chord, then play the notes a second time to
switch them off.

When unselected, a chord would sound as a very fast mouse
arpeggio - so in effect that would make it a monomode claver,
(with optional sustain) which would also be of interest.

One could even make it velocity sensitive by making the
velocity depend on the position on the key (though you
would have to use it at high resolution for this to
be very effective for the keyboards with multitudinous
accidentals).
