This is an improvisation using Gene ward Smith's 12 note 5-limit meantone lesfip tuning.

The solo is slide mandolin to try to keep to the tuning.

for the heck of it - I was asked about the lyrics

Humility Don't Come to You

Bet you don't know what I do,
what I'm doing, what I'm doing
Bet you don't understand

Yes I realize
that you think you think you are so big
and its hollow the night you stand

Humility don't come to you
Not at all
Humility don't come to you
Not at all

I bet you can't figure out who you are
All the things you try just don't get you too far
And you try to make what it is
Something that that it really isn't pure

Humility don't come to you
Easy at all
Humility don't come to you
You think you stand so tall

Humility don't come to you
Not Easy at all
Humility don't come to you
I hope that you can catch your fall.

I like the zither. Maybe you could get a damsel with a dulcimer to do the singing part?

I wish, because it would sound a lot better :-)

BUT I do have a hammer dulcimer - I'm still working on that one. It was
actually a home made job and finding strings, and re-stringing - has been
time consuming. I'm using straight piano wire and I have to physically make
the loops with a pair of pilers.

But since it was a home made job it has nearly 30 notes. Much more than the
ones on the market.
