Hello all
My name is Panos and I start to interesting for microtonal music 2
years ago when I read the book of Aristoxenos "Harmonic elements".
At this time I study the Ancient Greek music theory (harmony and
rhythm) and I try to learn more about compose music with Ancient
Greek scales.
You can enjoy my song "Enarmonio" to the following link:
http://www.mp3.com/morfaice

The scale for this song is from "Aristoxenos' Enharmonic genus,
Dorian mode.
Below is the tuning for this song:
0: 1/1 0.000 unison,
1: 50.000 cents
2: 100.000 cents
3: 500.000 cents
4: 700.000 cents
5: 750.000 cents
6: 800.000 cents
7: 2/1 1200.000 octave

Regards and many thanks to Jon Szanto and List-Mom.

What is fascinating is that many people became involved in tuning and *then* went back to read on what ancient Greeks had to do with this. Nice to see that you started there and are moving forward.

...and I've uploaded it as http://www.microtonal.org/mp3/Enarmonio.mp3 on the org site in case Yahoo is difficult.

...who, on good days, is one and the same person...

Cheers,
