tuning with scala and timidity

I am trying to get tunings out of scala into timidity
I've set the synth option in scala to 117 (-Z option of timidity)
Then send writes a dump file that presumably is suitable for timidity -Z

But how do I set the root of the scale?
ie just intonation (for example) is very different in C and in C#
