Here is the original harpsichord version for reference

And also for reference a 12 equal version with wind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon)

Here is a version in Blue JI tuning with soprano, alto, tenor, and bass recorders

Here is a version in Blue JI tuning with wind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon)

Here is a version in Kraig's Centaur tuning with with wind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon)

There are slight changes in the files - I shifted the tuning center as needs, played a bit with tempo, a bit with volume and a note or two may be different. On the whole though this is a fairly accurate comparison.

I like all the versions using the woodwinds (not the recorders though).
JI Blue and Kraig's Centaur tuning makes a subtle, noticable difference
(I like Kraig's tuning best). The composition is inspired! So rustic,
slyvan and pastoral! You have a knack for hobbits, centaurs and satyrs
Chris. :)

Thank you Oz for the listen and comment.

The composition is an improvisation that I then used as a basis to compose
around. Partly out of necessity because the part writing out of the original
keyboard piece required adjustment to fit instrumental range or doubling.
And, not to offend anyone - I like the two JI versions best and Centaur best
out of that though the different is very subtle. I doubt a casual listener
could discern a difference.
