Hi Jacky - in November, you wrote:

well, youve done it - 22techXture is very cool -
rhythm bed is sweet, the synth arpeggios
are striking, they bring out the microtonality
in a very nice melodic way. bass line is great,
and the structure of the piece is, as always,
well thought out... repeats but only a bit,
and even then with variation.

way to GO!

Finally getting to posting on this...
Wonderful as always, Jacky.
I have enjoyed playing around with this scale on guitar, but it is
great to hear what a *great musician* can really do with it! I
recognize the rather "odd" mood of the scale in there, but the
overall feel of the piece has that inimitable Jacky personality.
Great and inspiring stuff!

Not particularly difficult or awkward to play in, no intervals
smaller than a semitone, but still a little hard to get used to
just because it sounds so weird! Now that I think of it, there are
one or two places in that USE performance I was using that scale.
Kind of a droning, wet, oozing sound. I've been meaning to post up
more clips from that, but my ISP has died and currently the only
place I can post is at work, where I can't send files because of
firewall. In the process of shopping for a new ISP...

Too bad we're all scattered around the world...

Didn't Darreg refret for 22 too? He's gone, but I think his
instruments are still at Sonic Arts. Monz?
