Hey all,

New tune for your consideration. Nothing novel, a nondescript tune with
conventional harmonies etc. Uses a subset of 19edo. Pretty much a good
example of post-modern elevator muzak.

Not sure if these links work yet, but I'll find out shortly...

Best,
jls

Hi jls,

Ultramarine is superb, I listened to all eight minutes, not a bum note in sight, very impressive.

a fun listen and good to have such a large chunk of sounds as so often it takes a bit to really absorb a tuning.
i kept having visions of being in a strange Thai restaurant and watching my round bowl slowly turn into an ellipse and then been shaped.

I'm enjoying it right now!

Do any of you know any VSTi instruments that support sampling and re-mapping the
samples to SCALA format microtonal scales?

I'm getting started with Mixcraft 5...and, as with many MIDI DAWs, the only easy
way to get microtonal ability seems to be with VSTi's....

Native Instruments Kontakt.
But you need to do it with a script as it doesn't accept .scl files directly
(Scala can export any tuning to kontakt tuning script)

Dimension pro is a sampler. You can load any wav file.

Garritan is also - but has its own format.
