Etienne is doing research on direction perception at UOW working with speaker in an anechoic chamber.
He needed 255 different sound each at a virtual different location and he had thought of Partch's scale as 6 octaves would cover it.
So i had to map this scale onto this little grid so i had to use a 1/3 keyboard pattern which is the onlty thing that would work given the limited grid.
It can be fdone might be the message here. worked the red dots are octaves.
