Please to make notice of facts like :

It is birthday of me on 21st day of July of this year and making me of proud to announce that I have loaded up new improved re-mixed modified re-mastered version of first CD album I made last year - The Book Of Worlds - ya - so better sound, more music, longer tracks, the jazz parts are more jazz, the rock parts rock more, the world parts are more.... (other)worldly....

also most of music has been 'retuned' in either the new Hermode tuning correction system made for 12 tone equal temperament errors, OR retuned in Balinese, Chinese, and other Just Intonation systems.

Also to find please a new album I call "On the Practice of Stopping Time" made of long 20min + long tracks for sit down listen meditation or something like that.(Not suitable for break dancing)

All music here composed entirely on MIDI keyboard tuned entirely to "7-Limit Tritone Just Intonation" that some smart pants developed sometime in the last century. Very ambient, but not new age.

I might be delusional in thinking that I ought to get paid for the hard work I do, but hey, stranger things have happened. Also another new Album is one the way anytime soon mebbe who knows I m working on it, hope I won t starve to death in the meanwhile. (Am recovering from illness now as I type this)

I've been enjoying this music all evening. There are some terrific combinations of found sounds and instruments that are wonderful and transformative. I'm just not very fond of conventional guitar licks in the middle of my transformations.

I just spoke with the composer of this music (The Book Of Worlds) and she tells me she is honoured that anyone actually listens to her work, let alone wishes to comment so positively about it. Hey, ok I end up talking to myself, so shoot me ;P

Terms like 'esoteric' and 'conventional' are relative terms as we all know. Wonder by which kinds of guitar improvised music can we glean the convention from? For most of us, that would have to be Top 40 radio or MTV pop-rock. As the guitarist on the album I must say I did not wish to try to emulate pop or conventional rock guitar work at all. I m not defending the guitar but just defining things more clearly.

However for someone who may think that the guitar music of say artists like David Torn, Steve Tibbetts or Allan Holdsworth represent the core issue of 'conventional licks' then I would not know how to respond. It is almost like declaring (assuming one had the right to)
that Zakir Hussein for example is a 'mere' or 'conventional' tabla player, or that Bach is 'just' a common composer.

Having said all that, a listener's perspective on music is a very personal one and I would not wish to offend anyone or challenge anyone's position here, but to clarify and communicate mine.
