Socotra Island (MOTU demo #6)

This is a little piece dedicated to the lost world island of Socotra that grabs a lot of instrumentation from across Asia with little discrimination - the melodic instruments use Afshari with the exception of the Jews harps which use 9-tET Sorog. I am submitting it as the 6th demonstration piece for the Mark of the Unicorn demonstration piece competition.

I have listened to both this song and "Searching for the Unicorn"

Excellent!

I wonder if MOTU is going to fix that bug about loading external tuning files.

Thanks for the listen and comment!

I *thought* I had a user tuning going for the jaw harps but I was
wrong as I found out later. I do have a hunch that the problem may be
in the file format, specifically Ethno2 may not like PC formatted text
files being that format is the obvious difference between scala and
Ethno2 packaged .scl files. I should know later today.

Yikes! Terrific work as always. Loved the bowed string sound, didgeridoo,
percussion, especially cymbals.
