This isn't exactly microtonal, but I'm posting it anyway,
mainly in case Daniel Wolf finds it:

It's what happens if you upload and download a video to
youtube 1,000 times.

:-)

Take a wild guess at how many notes this song uses has within 13 cents of 12TET... :-)

To me it sounds friggin alien like at 1:50
I'm not a dance type person so most of this lost on me I'm sure. Kudos for making dance that is NOT mindless.

Hehehe...ok, cool, and thank you! :-)
And to think, this all started as a dare to make a Danny Teneaglia type track (not a favored style at all for me...I like doing huge arrangements over free-form break-beats much more than "flat" fairly minimalistic trance).
But, be sure, I'm going to make few more of these "cheesy dance tracks" in microtonal...especially now that I know I can apparently get away with swap tunings without the DJs catching me. :-D

Chris>" To me it sounds friggin alien like at 1:50"
You know what...I got exactly the same comment from the DJ. Well, not as harshly stated...but he said around 1:45 was a weak point (good call!).
When listening closely, I noticed that one of the notes had drifted off when I switched it the microtuning...meaning it changed the mood a bit awkwardly for that one part even though it still sounded "in key". So I am working on tweaking the chords a bit for the final version.

Unfortunately that was the part that sounded most interesting.
