50 seconds for 22 edo Brass and Piano

I've been studying Schoenberg (Op 19 which is pre-serialism) and Carl Ruggles recently.

This is my (first I think) contribution to Dan Sterns miniatures thread on Xenharmonic alliance and it is a bit reminiscent of Ruggles and Schoenberg except it is in 22 EDO.

To me, it has more a "20th century" sound, sure suiting the time of Schönberg (although I do not know the concrete pieces that inspired it). I like it, too!

Funny thing is, though, that in a way it does not sound that "microtonal" to me. (That may be my personal problem since my microtonal music tends to be that way, too...)

Thanks for the listen and comment - here are some references to my
influences.

Schoenberg's op 19 (there is a midi of them here )

Carl Ruggles Angels

And Marcel - if you are out there - *how* does one perform Angels in your JI
system?
I'm suspecting that it can't

Chris -- I don't recall if I have commented on this piece or not --
but I did give it a listen and did like it. I also liked that
LucyTuned "Talking To God" thing. I wondered around your site some
and listened to other pieces as well. Overall, your music is one
example of a place I would point people to, to introduce them to
microtonal music that could appeal to the "commoner". Keep up the
good work!

Thank you Jay. I have been getting comments from people in 12 edo forums
that are about half positive - with occasional comments along the line that
Talking to God was out of tune to some - the responses were mixed - and as
the left / right channel version should the difference between Lucy tuning
and 12 edo isn't huge for the most part - that is puzzling.

Of course post to sites with mostly 12 edo composers is a tough venue - BUT
the regular consumer at say "The Sixtyone" rejected out of hand the Lucy
tuned Talking to God - and then embraced (for my standards there) the 12
EDO version. I'm still working on that site.

I analyzed this piece (50 seconds for 22 edo Brass and Piano)

Below is a scan of the piano roll output for the piano portion of the piece.

http://micro.soonlabel.com/22-ET/mini-piano-roll.jpg

Really no surprise in my composition style in that I'm using a lot of open
harmonies and avoiding thirds.
There are some xen moments though.

Charles Lucy kindly provided the data I used to analyze the "score" - a scan
of that is below.
