You guys are having too much fun.

Here's a 13 limit JI drone I whipped up this afternoon
so I could see how long of a track I could up load to...

Thank you David - it sounds great!!

And I signed up for soundcloud as well. 55 minute piece is impressive - what
was your file size?

nice David, also an interesting looking site: I'm actually looking for
someplace to stream audio from. they seem a bit pricy though, if you want to
upload lots of files... other alternatives?

Sweet. Doesn't seem to go anywhere, though....

:)

Cheers,
Jon

Thanks!

But that's the point - it's a test pattern! Some of us can remember the
days of analog TV...3:30 am and we're looking at a bulls eye on the tube
with the station logo in the middle. It's not going anywhere because
it's already there.

I wanted see if SoundCloud could
host a large and lengthy file and how HiFi it streams.

I think flac is fine for this and it's an improvement over a LoFi mp3 file.

SoundCloud offers "a 128 kbps mp3 to be accessible for widgets,
podcasts & applications".

Sounds sad to me.

Damn! Though not the *first* time my sense of humor has failed to translate in a text-based medium... :)

Ah -- I see what you did there.
