I think that may have been me....although I love FluidSynth, it's a
shame that they haven't implemented the MIDI tuning standard yet (but
then again, very few have, so it's really a 'standard' in name only)

TiMidity does respond to SYSEX MTS messages, but its soundfont
rendering is not as good as FluidSynth's, and it's not in active
development anymore. Although I pushed for a patch to get rid of a
clicking problem--an old TiMidity developer has self-published a patch
to fix that issue. And, from the TODO file, it looks like the next
FluidSynth version may contain MTS functionality.
