Aaron,
Very neat. Sounds like an arcade game soundtrack being played by an alien with wet hands and one leg longer than the other with no sleep. 8bit rulz! What's the tuning?

LOL...that's a fine description! Although when I wrote it, I was thinking vaseline hands, one titanium leg, and 5 cups of Andromedan coffee...but close enough, you got my intent.

The tuning is 17-edo....there are lots of neutral modes used, and neutral triads. The use of limited spectra waveforms like band-limited triangle waves takes the edge off of them, though....anyway, I've developed a special fondness for 17...it's got a healthy combination of the known and the unknown and the historically ethnic (arab) touches, in a relitively small set of pitches.

Changing the subject...what made you switch from 53 to 72 for your 'close enough to just' writing....and have you ever considered 99, 171, or 443 for the matter? :) Although I suppose the first two mentioned are best for 7 limit only really, and I know you go to 11, like Spinal Tap.

-A.

Corrections:

spelling: relatively.
also I meant 441-edo, not 443-edo
