Hi All,

A while ago I had put Gertrude Stein's poem
"A Completed Portrait of Picasso" to music -- it
is in 7-TET, and is sung/read by the author.
Last year when I was in Paris, I took lots of
photos at the Picasso museum.
It occurred to me that it would be fun to illustrate
the song with the photos -- the result is called
"An Incomplete Portrait of Gertrude Stein," and
you can hear/see it:

Hi,
thanks for sharing. The repetitive voice (now, not now...) with el. drums reminds me something... Is it possible I heard this piece before?
I have explored 7edo deeply in the end of 80's and I like it still. I think that inharmonic timbres here hide the tuning properties. It sounds to me as a music in no tuning at all, more sonoric than harmonic/melodic. But it works, anyway. Although I don't like this kind of drums, but it is my very personal feeling.
