Amanda Cole in Sydney has been doing work with an instrument of this nature also.

Cris Forster also has designed an elaborate instrument where the glass is mounted and rotated by a silent belt and one has only to press ones fingers against the edge. his I remember as a full 13 limit diamond and i had the honor of being able to play it at his place. It was wonderful as one could play full chords
