Stamping Tube music of the 'Are 'Are music from the Solomons Islands

Some of my favorite music on this planet and something i would play allot of on my radio show. I put this up on my blog which i thought might interest some. Their music is general is highly developed. I have quite a few recordings of these people and each regional group tends to have there own tuning quite distinct to others ( despite what has been written in journals) . This is explainable by being on different islands, island areas.

Are there any albums that might be on Emusic?

I don't know. The labels that put it out where unesco, Ocora, musique de monde, they were all collected by Hugo Zemp in the 70's

Musique du Monde's on there, but I don't see these albums. There is
"The Solomon Islands - The Sound Of Bamboo" on Music Of The Earth/IODA
which has stamping tube music. Also lots of pan pipes.

yes that one too. I couldn't remember offhand. That one has a more slendro sounding scale but it might be more western influenced in its tuning.
