Following the thread on composition software, here's a free, cross-platform score editor in development:

If you want microtonal support now's the time to get involved. They don't mention ABC. NoteEdit imports and exports ABC but maybe this feature didn't carry across. If that's the case working with LilyPond might be easier than adding all the ABC code so that we can use it with MicroABC.
