At least lists of cents is a step forward from the ubiquitous lists of
integer ratios that have proliferated on the tuning lists for the past
15 years ;-)

most of the people on these list have always been more interested in temperaments. Actually i am finding the best measurement just the log2, one less step

Having been here a couple of years now, and having read in the
archives many, many times, it is very clear that if any method of
describing intervals has any claim on "ubiquitous", it is by far and
away cents, not integer ratios.

The main body of work done in this particular tuning community is
temperament, and it is discussed in cents and "irrational" figures,
NOT interval ratios.

By your statement above, it is also glaringly obvious that either a:
you don't actually read the lists, b: you do read the lists but don't
understand even the most simple and mundane things like the
difference between say "381.3347 cents" and "5/4", or c: you do read
the lists and do know the difference between measurements, but choose
for whatever reason to speak as if some situation, which does not
exist, as if it does exist.

There are no value judgements in what I'm saying now, as far as cents
vs ratios or whatever. It is just that your statement was bogus and
constitutes pure noise at best. Pure noise would be a euphemism,
actually- embarassingly inept attempt at thought manipulation would
probably be far more accurate.
