Choose any interval in cents and stack them so that they line up with
the cycle of 5ths. For example choose 736cents in 44tet. This produces
C=0, G=736, D=273, A=1009, E=545, B=82, F#=818, C#=355, Ab=1091,
Eb=627, Bb=164 and F=900cents. This might seem illogical but this
tuning and others like it can be implemented using a Kurzweil. Bb is
tuned up 364cents and F is tuned up 400cents etc. Any reasonable
interval between 0 and 1200cents can be chosen to begin with. Intervals
can also be stacked against the ascending chromatic scale where C=0,
C#=736, D=273, Eb=1009 etc. Ascending 4ths and the descending chromatic
scale can also be used. This group of four related musical algorithms
can be used to explore or just to have fun. Simply tune the Kurzweil to
the desired tuning and play midi files of pre-existing music. Classical
piano midi files played with a vibraphone timbre sound quite good.
