Yes, that's me. Picture was taken on Skye a couple of years ago or
so. Snow everywhere. We all climbed one of the hills on Skye,
called Ben na Cro. The rocky one in the background is called
Blaven (and would be rather more serious, esp. in Winter). The one
we are on is an ordinary hill walk up to the top.

If one could see the rest of the picture, you'd see some of my
relatives on Skye with me.

The picture is stretched out a bit horizontally as it is originally
a rectangular one and they make them square when you upload them.

You are *breaking* my heart: just last night I had a wee dram of Talisker, and wondered when I'll journey to Skye (the only Scottish isle we've been to was Arran).

I sort of figured that. Either that, or you'd have been cast in the Tolkien film! Hey, in any event, you look great in real life! I had you pegged for short hair, horn-rim glasses, and a pocket protector (not!) :) .....

Hi Jon,

It's funny about the images one gets of people on-line
isn't it.

Well, I do often have a pen in my shirt pocket and
jot down notes of ideas that occur to me when out for a walk (but
not with a protector). Also I'm getting a bit short sighted, so
I may start to wear glasses of some description eventually, but so
far, I'm managing ok without.

Now, Arran is one Scottish island I haven't been to yet.

Skye is a pretty amazing island I think...
