Microtonal sequencing with Max/Msp and iCE objects

Hello,
I want to make electronic music without being limited to haptic
interfaces(keyboards) available, and my lack of good keyboard technique.
I want to write notes directly to the computer like writing on paper.
If this interests you, I found this software http://www.dspaudio.com/
software/ice/ice_overview.html,
which are objects for the max/msp platform which seems to facilitate
microtonal writing and sequencing.

From the site:
iCE in combination with Max/MSP creates the most flexible,
customizable and powerful sequencing, processing, looping, sampling,
multitracking and effects software ever imagined. iCE externals
complete Max/MSP as a full featured media sequencing environment.
Many new angles of timeline composition are now possible:

Sequencing: step, timeline, tracking, looping, iterative, generative,
recursive, (float/int/list/messages/hertz/etc.)
Interfacing: fully user defined keyboard, mouse and joystick capability
UI Building: open framework for user defined control structures

Do you feel like sequencing with your own microtunings or directly in
Hertz? Do you miss old DOS and Amiga trackers? Do you miss hardware
step sequencers like the Notron, Schaltwerk, TKB, MAQ 3/16 or Roland
XOX's? Do you want to sequence the max universe?
Do you grow tired of TECHNO?

It does interest me, and I wrote this free software:

Specifically for extended JI, the only kind of tuning I know that
can't be condensed into a scale. Any interface that relies on a set
scale of tones is insufficient for me.

Extended just intonation is also what makes me need writing directly
to the computer.
Your software seem nice, although I am not familiar with PD.
I am waiting for Max 5 to start using these kind of stuff.
