Thanks for pointing out the usage of tick and check, and it is very helpful.

It really is a great help to be told about things like this,
could well confuse many users, and I would have gone on using "tick"
if you hadn't said - thanks a lot!

Now that I know to look for it, I've found it here as well:

which draws attention to it and suggests Select / unselect.

Found that in a google search for it - quite a useful site for
program developers.
