Just saw an interview w/Terry Riley on the new Wired mag...didn't have time to read it all, but noticed that they said there was a piano in the room, that had recently been tuned from Just Intonation to equal temperament. Is this a new thing for him? Does he got through different phases with how he tunes? Just curious....HHHH

With the piano he does seem to go
back and forth.
the Harp of New Albion is my
favrit
piano stuff in JI playing off
the twin 16/15s being close
to an 8/7
formed on both
sides of 1/1

It's not unusual for Terry to work in 12tet. He does it quite a bit. You should give him a listen someday.
