Thanks for the information! I've been dying to seen Partch performed live,
and I had missed this concert announcement otherwise.

I was too damn tired after work on Thursday to make the Santa Cruz
show, but I just got back from the Mills show. I've seen Schneider
2-3 times before, and as then, he did Barstow. But it was the
first time I've seen Castor & Pollux and Sonata Dementia live. I
thought they played really well, and much to my surprise I liked
the choreography on C & P (and my wife, a former dancer, also thought
it was good).

Mills oversold the event -- lots of people standing. We lucked
out and got front-row seats.

We saw this instead of what we'd planned to see tonight -- Bach's
Mass in Bmin in Berkeley with the Netherlands Bach Society. We
probably made the wrong choice in the end, but it wasn't a bad one
either, and we saved a wad of cash.
